When Frieda Pinsky uses some magic powder to help make the matzah balls for her Passover seder light and fluffy, it works too well.

It is the night of the Passover seder, and Frieda Pinsky wants her matzah balls to be perfect.  "Please be light and fluffy," pleads Frieda as she drops each ball into the big pot of chicken soup.  But the matzah balls just sit on the bottom of the pot "like dozens of little stones."  Fear not.  A plump little fairy comes to the rescue and gives Frieda a magic powder to stir into the soup.  "Use only one pinch, " she warns.  Frieda decides more is better.  After eating the lightest, fluffiest matzah balls they've ever tasted, members of the Pinsky family lift off like balloons and float through the house.  The Matzah Ball Fairy appears again and finds the perfect culinary antidote.  This delightful store captures the flavor and feeling of the beloved Jewish family holiday of Passover.
