DIVINE DANCE is a collection of 13 original musical settings for prayers composed, arranged and performed beautifully by the multi-talented Mark Bloom. The mostly Hebrew texts follow the order of a service from introductory prayers through concluding worship pieces. With the goal of "moving the soul to dance divine" the songs are designed to bridge the artful elegance of our classical traditional styles with the warm communal sensibilities of our modern world. Guest vocalists Barry Abelson, Audrey Abrams, Jennifer Blum and Scott Buckner, acoustic guitar player Rick Recht, and bass player Sim Glaser lend their respective talents to this endeavor.
